Research was conducted by DSc ( habilitation ) Agata Jędrzejuk from the Department of Ornamental Plants of the Warsaw University of Life Science in Warsaw , Poland , to study the effects of LED light on Petunia cross Dark Red .
The test material were rooted cuttings of petunia ( Petunia x atkinsiana ) “ Dark Red ” , institute on 16th of April in pots P11 in standard peat substrate . The experiment was continue until 28th of June 2019 . The plants , leveled in height and quality , were separated into 4 combination and place in a grow elbow room in a constant temperature of 20 ° light speed . In each combination 15 plants were set . The espouse parameter were measured in 6 periods ( from 16th of April to 28th o June ): height of plant , bit and control surface area of leaf , number and diameter of flowers , diameter of plant . The germ of igniter consisted of light-emitting diode lamp by Plantalux . The solvent were compiled statistically using one - way ANOVA1 , and the means were compared using LSD test at P=0.95 .
Results

ontogeny dynamicsPlants growing in weather condition of greater participation of violent visible light ( combination 3 ) were characterize by the gamy development charge per unit . The shortest plants were from compounding 1 and 2 , which height was no great than 13 cm during the last daylight of the experimentation .

Diameter of a flowerFrom 25th of April to 11th of June plants growing in condition of greater involvement of ruby light as well as a mix of aristocratical and red lights had on average large diam of flowers that plants produce in consideration of greater participation of puritanical brightness .
Diameter of plantsThe measurements of the diam of plant have been need from 8th of May to 28th of June . plant growing in conditions of with child participation of red sparkle were characterized by the big diameter of plants on all dates of measurements . On the last day the diameter of above - observe plants reached on mean 50 curium . The smallest diam reached the plant life from the control group ( 100 % blank light participation ) – 43.9 cm .
