Clematis, roses, and peonies
Today ’s photos are from Priti Pant , who is sharing some beautiful images from her Michigan garden .
This beautiful pink peony ( Paeoniahybrid , Zones 3–8 ) is of a type called “ anemone shape . ” These paeony have a ring of large flower petal with a clump of small petals ( petaloids ) in the center .
This singlepeonywith just a uncomplicated ring of flower petal is finespun . Single pattern generally stand up better withoutstaking , as the flower are n’t as heavy .

Look at the size of thisrose , which is just loaded down with beautiful flush .
Floating flowers in a bowlful of water is a great way to exhibit them . These are from Priti ’s beautiful aggregation ofClematis . It is absorbing to see all the diversity of the blossom together , the full range of size and beautiful velvety colors .
Clematis areflowering vines . Many of them bloom most heavily in the spring , but some will repeat flower through the summer with others flower mostly in the fall . Full Lord’s Day and deep grunge will yield the most blooms .
