Pulling a garden together with wreaths
We ’re visiting Paula Brown ’s beautiful garden today .
My garden , in Ottawa , Ontario , is under a lot of snow right now , so I decided to spill about the creativewreathsthat tie my garden together with colour through each time of year . When my garden is waking in the spring , I am busily planning my color chart as to whatannualsI will plant alongside my perennials . This dictate how I will construct my wreath and what chromaticity I will incorporate in it . I expend as many rude products as I can , but as the wreath can be on my front threshold for month of southerly vulnerability , I am limited in my use of live plant . I have been doing this since 2000 , and each year seems to “ farm ” bigger , as it seems my creative thinking knows no saltation .
Thefront gardeninJuneis full of flowers , with all the colors echo in the wreath on the front door .

Theroseis glorious in full boom in June .
The garden in lateSeptemberis still full of bloom and colour , though the rosiness is finished .
The garden at Christmas time , covered in coke , still has some color from thewreathon the front room access .

I make a hanger each winter from collected twigs , berry , conifer tips , and piss that I allow to freeze . This hanger was inspired by music notes .
