I really enjoy take in my own swimming fertiliser and see the growth on the garden over the next sidereal day or two . Sometimes plant can really astound you with how promptly they interchange and grow . I love trying new merchandise when they do through and I love experiment in the garden . I ’ve done a few run from turn biodynamically versus constitutive , pest control and fertiliser .
Being able to try something fresh in the garden helps keep my inner mad scientist happy and this twelvemonth has been no exclusion ! I use a bunch of different fertilizer in the garden : 1 I have bought which are organic and “ teatime ” I make myself .
Not this sort of tea but ones from compost , fluent fertiliser from weeds , Bokashi , and worm castings . Other plants like comfrey and stick nettles and seaweed also make a great fertilizer teas for your garden and plant life .
They . Smell . Bad .
And I mean REALLY bad . My husband calls my homemade limpid fertiliser “ Satan ’s Asshole ” it sense that regretful !
They ’re neat for your plants no dubiousness about it but they will clear your neighbour ’s garden party before you have polish off fertilize your garden !
They smell terrible because it is mostly anaerobic bacteria work away with minuscule or no O to fall apart down the organic material into small component which the bacteria in the dirt recrudesce down even more which then fertilize your plants .
Living in urban and suburban options means that you really need to be considerate of your neighbors even if their dog drives you INSANE .

How Did I Use Organic Plant Magic?
I have been using the production for a year even in wintertime to really put it through its paces here at my urban homestead .
I used the product in a couple of way ; first as a fluid industrial plant provender stretch in the watering can , second as a dry powder add to the planting hole and thirdly sum up to the compost slew .
The powder dissolves cursorily in a lachrymation can of weewee and does not block the rose at the death which is a trouble for my homemade liquid fertilizer .

I used the feed on some chrysanthemums which had started grow and was treated with beautiful peak into December .
I also used it to feed the orchard trees and my struggle silver birch Tree in the backyard before the snow came to help develop the soil microbiology before winter hit hard .
The Tree showed some improvement come spring for the amount of novel leaf but I ’ve had some watering issues with the sprinkler system of rules so not been capable to see the full upshot of using Organic Plant Magic on them and my plants in the front yard hedge .
When added to the planting hole , the plant seemed to ensconce in much faster with reduced problems of transplant shock . I used 1 teaspoon in the planting maw then watered the plant in as normal .
My transplanted nasturtiums reckon endearing afterwards when they started to flower for some fantastic drop color in the yard .
Do n’t these wine - red nasturtium wait lovely ? I care I had saved the seed !
For me , this was the bulk of where I used Organic Plant Magic . I want to ensure the compost was positively active with microorganism for the garden . I also wanted to see if the influx of good soil microbes and fungi would play as a compost activator .
I sum up Organic Plant Magic to a watering can full of H2O and water the compost heap with it and some Bokashi Juice .
The compost pile heated up much quicker and form the bloodless fungus seen in compost showing that mycorrhizal fungi were establishing in the heap . These mycorrhizal fungi welfare Sir Herbert Beerbohm Tree and shrubs by put up more nutrients for them to take up .
One of my first YouTube videos was kickstarting my compost heap using Organic Plant Magic and the results were awing !
As a resultant of this terrific compost , I have an amazingly productive vegetable garden this yr :
The compost was produced tight in wintertime and was used throughout bounce to build the raised beds I have been influence on .
I now have squash arches full of sugar pumpkins and noggin , towering corn and basket upon baskets of tomatoes .
I was so surprised at how well this works that I ’m going to see if it helps necrotic rings and dead spots in my front lawn too !
I really enjoyed trialing the Organic Plant Magic Instant Compost in the garden over the last year and I wanted to be sure that this product process before I gave my final opinion on the product .
I wish the easy to open and resealable transparency laminate pouch to keep the product stable . It kept out wet really well so the product did n’t bunch up together and segregate .
Organic Plant Magic can be used in those garden hose sprayer adherence for heavy areas or dilute in a watering can as well as the wry pulverisation in planting .
Bubba actually ate part of one of the packets last year and it did n’t make him sick so I cognize this is safe around favourite !
The only downside for me is that it is n’t OMRI number or organic farming okay so if I were to go for organic husbandry or a CSA I could n’t claim my garden truck as such . I asked the company if they were working on a certified product and why this one is n’t certified and I will update this post once they get back to me .
If you are looking for a product that you may use in many different ways in your garden to feed your plants then I think that Organic Plant Magic is a great easy to use , pet friendly product that does n’t have all the hassle of other compost teas where you have to leave behind then or oxygenise them . It does n’t reek either , making it idealistic for urban nester who want to help build their soil microbiology and get their plants off to a with child start .
