Dahlias, hydrangeas, and more!
Today we ’re revisit the summertime garden of Maxine in Langley , British Columbia , Canada .
My gardening hobby spans many decades , ever since I was in 4H almost 70 twelvemonth ago . I develop a huge garden as well with two greenhouses full of tomato and Swiss chard . Right now , dessert is the sweet , ripe cantaloupes . My little patch ofraspberriesgave me 60 jars of jam .
This is only a small part of the one thousand where shrubs and a myriad of flush delight us throughout the warm leaping and drop months . I trust this will bring a smile to your face .

I have a big deal of happiness produce a variety ofdahliasand indue fragrance throughout the summertime .
Swallows come back each year to this birdhouse , and they get to bask the daylilies as well .
‘ Star Gazer ’ lily(Lilium‘Star Gazer ’ , Zones 4–8 ) does n’t disappoint . I produce this lily in retentivity of my mother , who learn me unlike constellations when I was a wee girl 70 years ago . To me it intend whiteness , and I await the beautiful blooms every class .

A white Oriental lily(Lilium , Oriental hybrid group , Zones 4–8 )
hydrangea are also a favorite in my bloom garden . ( This is a drab variety known as a lacecap for the ring of tumid , showy flowers environ the lacy , delicate fecund inside bloom . )
The flower point on thispanicle hydrangea(Hydrangea paniculata , Zones 4–7 ) are crimson from snowy to knock .
