summertime ’s ending in Harrisburg , PA
" It ’s nearing the end of summer in my Zone 6b garden . Despite only 1 rainfall in the past 4 weeks , and a possible record breaking summertime for heating system , the garden has held up pretty well . Last workweek I had 36 multitude from Australia touring my garden . They are spending 3 week in the mid - Atlantic , and want to tour some individual garden , in improver to the major public ones . I was one of 5 gardens locally that were chosen . I had an awesome time with this very avid group of nurseryman . My garden is under 1/2 acre , and in a suburban development . My garden includes 131 conifer and 12 Japanese maples , in add-on to legion perennials . I have shared exposure in the past , but never of the recent summer garden . I take more overview flick , rather than focusing on case-by-case plants . I hope you relish . "
