No more lawn chems , no more purchasing foods raised on pesticides . farm and landscapes must also feast the natural universe . There ’s no manner around it if we ’re locomote to keep butterfly stroke , bees , and the bluff intricate stunner of pollination driven ecosystems .
What else can we do?Plant their favorites .
Monarchs will arrive by the dozens in the early autumn when you plant a liatris like this one.
What are the mega monarch magnets ? We know about themilkweeds , vulgar for the garden , swampland for the rainfall garden , poke for the shade , and butterfly weed for hot sunny spot . All of which can host milkweed butterfly caterpillars . How about some ambrosia for butterflies migrating from Mexico to Canada and vise - versa ?
