I love Echinacea andI have write all about how to grow them before here at Flower Patch .   I have collected quite a few variety and many of them are uninventive loan-blend or easily grouchy - pollinate and wo n’t come true from the seeds they produce .

Why Divide Echinacea

My White Swan will grow from seed but with the other mixture of coneflower also in the garden they easily bilk - pollinate and my White Swan seed wo n’t always blossom whitened .

So I must toil them up to divide them to get more and this is a great mode to keep the flora from induce too large .

Dividing perennials keep them healthy and felicitous .

When to Divide Echinacea
