Blueberry season seems to mark the showtime of summertime for my house . schooltime has terminate , warmer temperatures arrive and all the splendid summer green groceries begins to mature . It wo n’t be long before we ’re toting our baskets down the J. J. Hill to our blueberry George Bush for some one-year blueberry bush pick .

Blueberriesare my fellowship ’s favorite berry , and typically after a few days of Chuck Berry picking , my rejoinder is fill with bowls of impertinent berries . I freeze about half the Charles Edward Berry to use in smoothies , homemade ice cream , jam , deep-dish pie , pies and blueberry muffin . The other half we eat straight from the bowl on the kitchen counter or patter them on our salads , yogurt and granola . I also save a few pint to make my Blueberry Ginger Salsa .

This salsa is a result of my love for fish and yield ( and an overflowingmintplant ) . I ’ve always felt Pisces and fruit were two brisk ingredients made for each other . The piquant meat of the seafood flux with the clean fragrance of the yield is complimentary in tone and elate to the palate .

Here ,   I ’ve match this salsa with fresh Dover Sole that I flavour , rove and then pan seared in a skillet with a tablespoonful or two of ghee . Dover sole is such a delicate fish , sometimes it ’s well-to-do to prepare when it ’s rolled and cooked . you’re able to also station these Dover sole rolls in a greased baking bag and then pop out it in a pre - heated oven at 350 degree F. Brush the fish with olive oil colour and a clinch of lemon and prepare just until done . A good rule of thumb for cooking fish is to misrepresent 10 minute for every inch of thickness .
