The first few calendar week of the web log we spent writing and filling in a few Charles William Post from the previous year to provide the background for our little farm ’s story .   After that , we settled into our current format of station 3x ’s a week   ( Sunday - Tuesday- Friday ) about life story at the “ farm ” .

Us at the farm during our first barn party

The preceding 8 months have been a good time for us .   I never imagined how fun this journey to carve out our footling “ farm ” space would be – and document it with the blog has made it all the better .   Our web log has really helped us to stay focused and working toward our dreams – order down in words and pictures our efforts to build up the farm .   The web log is a great motivator on days when your tired and do n’t experience like you ’re accomplishing enough .   When those days dispatch – sometimes we will just reflect back and read some of the old billet and speedily see that we are lento getting there .   It serves as a great re - energizer   for us to keep at it .

We really are more committed than ever to a more round-eyed approach to life and the farm , keep up the resource we go through , and being creditworthy for the solid food we eat on .

We have tried to integrate simplicity and responsibleness into every facet of “ The Farm ” as we lento operate on our dream .   Our goals to be creditworthy for the majority of our own nutrient – and to re - use existing cloth and products as often as we can have aid us establish the farm at a fraction of the cost .   At the same prison term – we require to show that it can be done in a agency that can be pleasing to the oculus – and without all of the stereotype that come with “ recycling and re = purposing ” .

There are a lot of exciting challenges ahead for the farm .   More work and plantings to grow the garden , orchard and vineyard field .   The building of a greenhouse from recycled windows .   The induction of a Sensory Garden .   And hopefully , at some point down the road , the process of project and build our house to go on the attribute .

Much like we do at the farm ,   we also thought this was a great time to simplify the blog .   It did n’t take long to realise all of our posts conform to into the three category that we get laid most .   The Farm , Food and our DIY building task .

Moving forward – we are going to remain with the 3 post - a - week format – and simplify it into a day for each category .   In the coming weeks we will also organize all of our honest-to-god posts into those 3 categories , with connection on our side legal community to make them easygoing to find .

TUESDAY :   DIY DAY .   Each Tuesday ’s post will have something to do with one of our DIY projects – from building , landscape gardening or   re - purposing something we determine .
